INSULATOR SUBSTANCE

 

The substance is used to fill cavities in furnaces, it has insulating and sealing properties. The product is packed in plastic buckets with a net weight of 15 kilograms or depending on the customer's needs.There are two types of ground S18 and S15. The S15 insulating mass is very easy to separate from metals.

Properties:

 

  • heat resistant up to +1150°C after hardening (direct fire resistance)
  • heat resistant

  • good adhesion to bricks, concrete, cast iron, chamotte and stone

  • asbestos free
  • do not crumble, static joints crack resistant
  • SO2, SO3 i NO2 resistant (applies to typical, home use heaters, fireplaces and stoves)
  • easy to use regardless of the shape of the surface
  • non-flexible after hardening (not suitable for expansion joints)
  • suitable for aluminum surfaces
  • do not cause corrosion

Use:

 

  • sealing places exposed to direct contact with fire, e.g. chimneys, stoves, hearths, grills, boilers, etc.
  • fixing and sealing elements made of stone, concrete and cast iron, e.g. fireplace inserts
  • sealing and grouting fireproof blocks and bricks
  • sealing elements of exhaust ducts
